The objective of ergonomics is to design workplaces and tools as well as possible so that work can be carried out safely, healthily and efficiently. It is about matching the resources as best as possible to the employee, instead of the other way around. In order for the work to be carried out as well and efficiently as possible, it is necessary that people and the work are coordinated. Ergonomics is for everyone. However, since people differ so much, the question arises: which group of people is decisive? This may differ per situation.
