Optimizing the screen height is crucial for an ergonomic and comfortable working environment. A correctly adjusted screen height contributes to the prevention of neck and back problems, improves posture and reduces fatigue during prolonged use.

Here are some important considerations when setting the display height:

  1. Eye Level: The center of the display should be at eye level when the user is sitting upright. This helps to prevent neck complaints by keeping the neck in a natural position without bending too much up or down.
  2. Viewing distance: Place the display at a comfortable viewing distance, usually about an arm's length from the user. This prevents eye strain and reduces tension on the eye muscles.
  3. Neutral viewing angle: Ensure that the display is directly in front of the user, at eye level and approximately 20 degrees below the horizontal field of view. This helps reduce eye strain and promotes a comfortable viewing experience.
  4. Monitor stand or adjustable arm: Use a monitor stand or adjustable arm to adjust the height of the monitor to suit the user's individual needs. This allows the height to be easily adjusted to achieve an optimal viewing angle.

By taking these guidelines into account and setting the screen to the correct height, an ergonomic workplace can be created that promotes comfortable and productive working.
